Shannon Marie Henson

Shannon Henson devotes the majority of her practice to representing policyholders when insurance companies underpay, delay or deny their insurance claims. She also represents clients in dissolution and custody cases. Shannon received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Iowa in 2008. While at Iowa, she also studied English and Spanish and volunteered for numerous political campaigns. After graduating from Iowa, Shannon attended Drake University Law School where she participated in the Legislative Practice Program, serving as an intern for a state senator during the 2010 legislative session, and serving as a student lobbyist for the Middleton Center for Children’s Rights in 2011. She also worked as a law clerk at two firms in the Des Moines area, where she gained experience in the areas of civil litigation and family law. She graduated from Drake in the spring of 2011 and joined Hope Law Firm in the fall of 2011.
